Exponent Energy was founded in 2021 by Arun Vinayak and Sanjay Byalal. We invested in its first funding round the same year.
Exponent's platform charges commercial three-wheelers and buses in 15 minutes through a matched battery pack, charger and connector. It raised a $26 million Series B led by Eight Roads and TDK Ventures, and a further round in January 2026.
